I am very pleased to announce my new guide book with an introduction by my friend Charles Jennings, a leading thinker and practitioner in learning, development and performance. Charles who kindly suggests in his foreword that the book ‘provides a deep analysis and clear guidance to help practitioners develop effective social game-based learning solutions’.
The guide starts by explaining exactly what GBL is and why there is so much interest in it. It goes on to review the quantitative and qualitative evidence for the effectiveness of GBL which includes 3 recent case studies in which the author was directly involved.
The guide then proposes a systematic approach to planning and designing effective GBL projects covering 4 key stages:
1. GBL Planning
2. GBL Design
3. GBL Testing
4. GBL Execution
These stages are broken down and explained in detail in the subsequent chapters:
The book is available both on kindle and in hard copy on all the Amazon Channels and is volume 2 in my Systematic Guide series
